Kintsugi Community

A Virtual Spiritual Community for People Practicing High Levels of COVID Caution

What is Kintsugi Community?

Kintsugi Community began in 2023 as a stand-alone virtual interfaith/interspiritual community of people practicing (or wanting to practice) high levels of COVID caution and care. For people who remain more physically isolated or need/want to only be around others who mask, the removal of mask mandates across communities meant less access to spiritual homes. Kintsugi Community addressed the need for access to a spiritual home where we could love and support each other while exploring and growing spiritually. Now, under the 170 Trees organization, Kintsugi Community seeks to address the unique spiritual needs of those who continue to practice caution and care.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. In Kintsugi Community, we aim to fill the broken parts from these times with gold-filled connection.

Our Name.

Kintsugi Community Center.

In addition to having access to the 170 Trees Spiritual Virtual Community Center, Kintsugi Community members have their own private virtual community center.

In it, you can find specially designed rooms such as the joy room, grief room, a cafe, presentation space, and meeting and conversation spaces. After you join Kintsugi Community, we will send you a special invitation to that.
