The 170 Trees Spiritual Community Center is one of the most special parts of our community.
We want you to experience radical belonging in every space and at whatever time of day or night you enter, whether connecting through video calls, audio calls, chats, or taking in the resources and ambiance of each room. It is open 24/7 to community members. Spaces will grow over time, as the community’s wants and needs are shared. It is yours and ours to co-create and enjoy. You can even rent the spaces for your own events, meetings, and gatherings if you want to! Read on for more information about the current spaces.

This is the place where community members can discuss deeper conversation topics (e.g. spiritual ponderings, interesting articles we come across, questions about a certain faith/wisdom tradition).

This is the place where community members have casual conversations and connect over the daily tidbits of life. Morning greetings, photo shares, and check-ins are all welcome!

This is a place for community members to connect and get to know each other. In this space, members are encouraged to be free and post about themselves and their journey!

Community Spaces

In the Grief Room, we offer daily 15-minute grief rituals. Grief is a part of our lives, and letting ourselves feel, express, and sit with grief can have tremendous impact on our ability to feel its life counterpart joy. This space helps create a container for our grief, whether other people are in the space at the same time or not.

In the Joy Room, we offer daily 15-minute joy rituals. Tapping into a space that has the energy of the community’s joys is powerful. Whether you share a joy or gratitude out loud or in the chat or you just enjoy the music and feel of the space, you are likely to leave a little lighter than when you came.

As with all of our spaces, all spiritual/faith/religious paths are welcome. Come to this room to pray in whatever way works for you. You can pray for others who have put their requests in the chat or write your requests in the chat for others to pray for. There is beauty in community even with asynchronous community.

The Meditation Room provides a calming meditation space for community members. Whether it’s just you or there are others meditating too, you have the opportunity to sink deeper into your meditation here.

In the Labyrinth Room, enjoy meditative music as you trace your finger over the labyrinth as a way to calm and settle your nervous system.

Need some body-doubling within a spiritually grounding space but don’t want talking? Join the silent coworking space! You can turn the playlist on or off and just get to work. Chat is available!

Need some body-doubling within a spiritually grounding space and want the opportunity to chat with people during breaks? Join the talky coworking space! There will be breaks every 55 minutes where people can unmute and check in if wanted.
